Lipizzaners
Also known as Lipizzan, Lipicanac (Croatian), Lipicán (Czech), Lipicai (Hungarian), Lipizzano (Italian), Lipicaner (Serbian), Lipicanec (Slovene). The breed was developed in the Habsburg Empire. It is of Baroque type. While gray is the most common color, the breed also comes in black, bay, chestnut, creams and even roan. Historical colors/patterns are Leopard Complex and Tobiano. Sabino like spotting is seen and Splash 1 and Splash 2 are known to be in the breed.
I currently am a breeder of Historical colors and patterns and I have every color of the Lipizzaner rainbow in my herd.
There is a model horse group for Lipizzaners on FB that I created and maintain. https://www.facebook.com/groups/128340361654224
